Invitation to Ananda Marga Canada, Ottawa Region,
Karma Yoga & Meditation, Fall Retreat – Sept. 26th,27th & 28th, 2008
 
Namaskar Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters,
 
Please join us for an inspiring long weekend Karma Yoga & Meditation Retreat.
The program will be held at our Ananda Kanak Master Unit in beautiful rural Quebec, only 45 minutes North-East of Ottawa, 15 minutes North of Hwy 148.

 

Besides the Spiritual Rejuvenation and  Satsaunga , this  year's target is the major  improvement of the Master Unit facilities, house upgrades, landscaping / beautifying our property, constructing gravel bridge to the larger portion of the land on the other side of the stream and building recreational shade beside the stream.
 
Please join us in this special event and if  you are available, please come a few days before schedule to help in retreat preparations.
 
If you have a tent, sleeping  and camping gears, please bring them with you.

Also working tools ( for carpentry / construction work ) are needed. Donations for the building materials will be very much appreciated.

4:00-12:00 p.m. -Arrival and registration; individual lessons & asanas
10:15 p.m. - short kiirtan and meditation
10:35 p.m. - dream time
 
Saturday:
 
5:00 am - Paincajanya
5:30 am - Kiirtan/individual lessons/asanas/
8:30 am - DC
9:15 am - breakfast
10:00 am - clean up
10:30 am – Karma Yoga - ( house improvement, landscaping / beautifying our property, constructing gravel bridge to the larger portion of the land on the other side of the stream and building recreational shade )

12:00 pm. – DC
12:45 pm. - lunch
1:30 pm. - clean up

    Tantra, according to Shrii Shrii Ananda murtiji, is 95% practice and only 5% theory. What this means for spiritual aspirants is that the direct intuitional realization we achieve through our systematic sadhana is more important, more relevant to our lives, than meie learning.

According to Ananda Marga Yoga system, A'sanas should be done twice a day regularly combined with the meditation practice. It is better to do the A'sanas after meditation.
